ATX Power Supplies
ATX Power supply voltages: +3 VDC ± 5VDC, ±12 VDC (Volts Direct current) The ATX power supply uses a single 20 pin P1 connector. The ATX power supply also offers soft power, where the operating system is used for system shut down.

The ATX P1 power connector, has a tab to assist in locking the connector down onto the motherboard. On an actual connector, Pins 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14, 15, 18, and 19 have beveled edges which help reduce the risk of a backwards insertion.

The 2X2 connector seen here, is very common on most newer motherbaords.

P8, P9, Berg, and Molex connectors respectively.
